Why Does God Make Us Wait?

"But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint."

Isaiah 40:31

God renews our strength in the least expected moments. Not in victories but in the quiet hours, where nothing seems to be moving.

Waiting on Him is not inactivity, it is the decision to stop forcing doors that He has not opened. It also is trusting His pace more than your own urge.

He does not make us wait for no reason. Do not always think that everything will come when you ask for it, sometimes waiting can be a test. A test of our faith in Him and His timing. But, rest asured, when your energy empties, His takes over. Some day He lifts you above it all, but most days He simply keeps you from collapsing. Either way, exhaustion does not win. The one you are waiting for, He wins.

The waiting and the time we are without energy are the times when our faith can really shine. So let it and show your Father who is in Heaven how true your faith is, without getting impatient or angry. Be patient, for your prayers will be answered, just not always when you would expect it.
